Excel Year 9 Snowball Maths

Just as a snowball becomes larger as it rolls down a hill and collects more snow, so too will students increase their knowledge as they work through Excel Snowball Maths Year 9.

This book has been developed by a high-school Maths teacher who extensively trialled the work in his classrooms over a seven-year period. His students' confidence increased significantly while using the units from this book, leading to success in their schoolwork and tests.

Not just a write-in workbook, Excel Snowball Maths Year 9 is also a self-learning book:

• Questions have embedded hints and instructions to show students the necessary steps to solve them.
• Working lines are carefully laid out with plenty of room for students to write, which will guide them step by step through each solution.
• Concepts are introduced slowly and methodically to ensure students move onto the next level of questions only when they have mastered the previous level.
• One-page unit reviews are included to help students efficiently revise their work for each chapter.

This book is written for Year 9 students who want:

• An introduction to the Year 9 Maths course
• A quick and efficient revision of the course
• Support in better understanding Maths concepts
• To fill gaps in their Year 9 Maths knowledge
• To boost confidence in their mathematical ability
