About the Author

Bill Matchett has worked across various schools for thirty years as a teacher and head teacher. As well as having experience as a HSC marker and senior marker across science subjects such as Senior Science and Science Extension, he has presented numerous workshops to develop student understanding in areas such as Investigating Science, Physics, Chemistry and Science Extension. Bill has also developed and presented professional learning in science pedagogy, student engagement and innovative use of technology to enhance learning.
