Super Skills First English Writing helps you make early literacy fun and engaging for your child!

Learning and writing the letters of the alphabet are the building blocks of reading and forming words and sentences. Here, the letters of the alphabet are introduced through a clear and simple format: read, trace, write.

The simple writing exercises help your child to recognise and remember the letters. Encourage your child to complete the writing pages. Practice is important! Review pages are created to extend the learning beyond basic writing through fun activities. These teach the child to apply what has been learnt which builds up confidence.

The Learning Journal introduces simple responsibility. Encourage your child to track his/her progress by colouring a star whenever he/she completes a topic. Explain that doing this also helps to show that he/she has reached a goal!

Oh, and don't forget to award your child with the Certificate of Achievement for completing all the writing goals and working on all the activity pages. Encouragement and praise often boost children's confidence and will surely motivate them and fuel their desire to learn!
