Top Notes Senior: Witness

Top Notes Film Guides: Pete Weir's Witness
Senior English (Light Blue)

Top Notes English Guides have been created to assist students of English in their understanding of a variety of texts. Included in this series are studies of fiction, non-fiction, drama, poetry and film. Top Notes are easy to read, providing analysis of issues and discussion of important ideas contained in the texts.

Particular care has been taken to ensure that students are able to gain an understanding not just of the text but the type of text it is.

Each text includes notes on:

• The form of the text
• The author
• Plot summary
• Character analysis
• Setting
• Thematic concerns
• Language studies
• Study practice questions
• Useful quotes
• Other readings

Top Notes (Light Blue Guides) are generally intended for Senior English students. Five Senses also publishes Top Notes (Yellow Guides) for Junior English students but are not written to any specific syllabi or curricula.
